Scrum is a simple but powerful framework to support team-based project delivery. One of the keys to a successful scrum project is an effective Product Owner. The Product Owner sets the product vision and is responsible for transforming it into a successful product. The Product Owner represents the voice of the customer, and is singularly responsible for the trade-offs and decisions targeted at reaching the product goals.
In this class, participants will learn the core skills to define and manage a prioritized product backlog, to make informed trade-off decisions as well as to create accurate and realistic product and release plans. This course will provide participants with the knowledge and understanding of the role of the Product Owner, as well its importance on the Scrum team. Participants will leave the class equipped with knowledge and tools to effectively support and lead their teams. You will learn how to create realistic release plans and then proactively steer the team in its successful delivery.
